For more than 13 years, Long Island, New York small business attorney Jonathan Cooper has represented hundreds of clients in civil and commercial litigation matters covering a broad range of issues from breach of contract by vendors, employees and insurance companies, to trade secret protection as well as manufacturer and distributor liability for defective products.

Mr. Cooper graduated with honors from Yeshiva University (perennially one of the Top 50 U.S. Universities in the country) with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, and then received his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, which he attended on two scholarships. Mr. Cooper‘s practice concentrates in the Nassau, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Westchester and Suffolk County courts of New York State, as well as the Federal Courts located in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Mr. Cooper is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Cooper has co-authored practice commentaries on New York’s Civil Practice Law and Rules for one of the country’s premier legal publishers,and is honored in that a large portion of his practice is devoted to cases where he was retained as trial or appellate counsel in complex defective products and commercial matters.

Mr. Cooper shares his home in Far Rockaway, New York with his far better-looking wife and six children.
